MAKING A PLATE GLASSES AND BOTTLES (Task 3)

The process of making bottles and plate glasses has several steps. Plate glasses and bottles have different shapes but they are made from the same materials. We need three materials to make bottles and plate glasses, they are sand, soda and limestone. The most important material in this process is sand. We also need tools like furnace, mould resemble bottle and plate glass, and roller. First, the materials were entered into the furnace. Then the furnace is set on fire in order to mix the materials. The furnace is set on high temperature to get a good result. This result is used for making bottles and plate. The process of making bottles and plate has a different method. To make plate glasses, the result that we get from first process is entered into roller. In this process, the materials were rolled like plate glasses. Then we wait the plate glasses until it becomes solid stated. To make bottles, the result that we get from first process is entered into the mould. The mould is made from wood or iron. The mould can’t be made from substance which can mix with the materials. The mould has the same shape like bottle. Then we wait until it becomes solid stated. Finally we can use them.
