television doesn't make people become individualist (TASK 4)

The development of technology has made an invention named television. Television can make us know the news from all around the world within seconds. Besides, television gives us many entertainments such as movies and quizzes. As we all know, television has become very common household appliances in our life now. Almost every people have television in their home because it seems like primary needs. I personally disagree if television stated could make people become individualist.

Firstly, it is impossible for somebody to watch television alone for a long time. We will be tired and get bored as the time goes by. At least if we watch with some friends, we have somebody to discuss with and we will not get bored too fast.

Yet, some people think that television makes people become individualists. Many families have one television each in their own room. This case usually happened because different people means different channel.

However, in other way, television has the opposite effect; there are still families placed the television in their living room. The families can watch it together within sharing about the day they have done. Another example is in the dormitory; the television is placed in the living room too. In dormitory, we need to make a good relationship with others. Television can be the way out because movie or news in television can be something to chat.

In conclusion, television doesn’t make people become individualists. Even though we want to watch different channel with other people, but sure we can tolerate it. And I think there will be no fun at all watching television alone.
