Football

Football is a game played with a round ball by two teams of eleven players on a field with a goal at either end.  The ball is moved chiefly by kicking or by using any part of the body except the hands and arms.  Main purpose of the game is to make the ball get into the goal.  This is the most popular sport in the world.  It is proven with this sport is played in all of countries in the world.

The eleven players in each team are mostly divided into four main positions: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and striker.  Goalkeeper is a special position because in a team there is only one goalkeeper that can play in a match.  Then, goalkeeper is the only one that can use hands in the game.  The job of goalkeeper is to keep the goal clean.  It means the opponent can not make a goal.  The other ten players try to make goals as many as they can.

The rule of the game is managed by an international federation named Fédération Internationale de Football Association, commonly known by the acronym FIFA.  FIFA manages all of the things that have coalitions with football.  Then, it makes the most prestigious international football competition, FIFA World Cup, that is held every four years.
