Retirement: Way to Gain Relaxing Life?

“Retirement is the point where a person stops employment completely (Anon,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retirement).” Indeed, people who has retire not stop completely in their sector. While a person says that they retire, it means that they don’t want to involved in their proffession actively again. But it doesn’t mean that they don’t even involve in their job pasively.

There are some reasons that cause a retirement. The first is that the people are considered to be good enough in their financial and they want to have a relax old day. Besides, some people also retire when their physical conditions do not permit them to continue their present occupation. The other reason which can not be neglected is that they have reached their retirement age.

The retirement age is various. The general is between 55 and 70. But the certain jobs which are dangerous and fatiguing have an earlier retirement age. Sports are the examples. The average retirement age for an athlete is between thirty and forty. However, there are also some occupations that has retirement age more than 70. Many politicians, scienctists and proffessors still work well in their 70’s.

However, it’s very important to take care of ourselves. Healthy is the most important point in our life. This is the consideration of not retiring in an exceeding age. Although the normal retirement age nowadays is sixty seven, I think the age of sixty is a proper age to retire. When We entered the age of sixteen, our body’s function will decrease. “Chronic pain is very identic with the elder. Although experts contend chronic pain is not a normal part of aging, people over 60 are twice as likely to suffer from chronic pain than the rest of the population (McLeod B.W,http://www.ahealthyme.com/topic/srchronic).” Besides, there are also many kind of diseases that the elder has more percentage of suffering, such as arthritis, stroke and high blood pressure. When we are on the age of sixty, we’d better retire and take care of our health. Although it doesn’t guarantee that we can have a relaxing old day. We can still involved into our sector passively.
